Nautilus

Have you ever heard of the epic, deeply mysterious nautilus? (That was a pun.) They squirt around at depths of up to 700 meters, their millions-of-years-old shell holding up at extraordinary pressures. They wiggle their little tentacles around in search of dead things to eat. They move like squids, backwards, waving those little arms, seemingly arbitrarily, their shells glistening with the deep, musty hue of water too far under.

Look up these fascinating creatures that have stayed almost exactly the same for the last 500 million years. You won’t regret it.
